This project involves an interior renovation of the second and third floors, including reading areas, multifunction rooms, media shelving, staff offices, and restrooms. The scope includes repainting interior surfaces, replacing carpeting, upgrading lighting, reconfiguring a single-gender restroom into all-gender toilet rooms with shared lavatories, and adding four small study rooms on the third-floor mezzanine. Work also covers new interior walls, doors, glazing, ceilings, and finishes, as well as updates to HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, audio/visual, and plumbing systems to meet current life safety codes.
