Built in 1861, this historic landmark was originally a private residence for the McElroy family. The building was saved from demolition in 1952 by the Colonial Dames and now serves as their Colonial and Federal Periods Decorative Arts Museum. The new ramp and door provide an accessible entrance for visitors while being integrated into the yard without interrupting the featured garden.
