Conrado Vellve

Preconstruction Manager

Conrado was the kid who was always building things; all he wanted for Christmas was a power drill. Now a 40-year veteran of the construction industry, Conrado has always been driven to achieve a deeper knowledge of how things work.

Conrado began his career as a carpenter in New York City and then as a field supervisor in Boston. He moved to the Bay Area in 1989 and began working with Mike and Jeff in the 1990s; as peers in the same firm they honed their collaborative, detail-focused approach. Moving from project management, Conrado became a Project Executive in 2005, and then a Vice President in 2012. Over the past decade, adaptive reuse projects have become one of his areas of expertise. For Conrado, the success of complex jobs lies in his commitment to the project sponsors, providing diligent preconstruction and hands-on engagement all the way to completion.

Education: BA in Liberal Arts from Columbia College, New York.
