The San Francisco Chronicle recently highlighted the dramatic transformation of Montgomery Village, Santa Rosa’s iconic open-air retail center — and Singular Builders is honored to have played a central role in its revitalization.
Once known as a quiet neighborhood shopping destination, the Village is attracting a new wave of premium brands and renewed community energy. As the Chronicle reports, the center is emerging as a vibrant retail hub, drawing nationally recognized retailers alongside long-standing local businesses.
Singular Builders delivered a multi-phase scope of improvements to support this evolution, including:
- 25,000 sq ft of landlord improvements
- Structural enhancements for four new storefronts
- 20,000 sq ft of roof repair and replacement
- 15,000 sq ft of new sidewalk, parking lot work, planters, and turf
- Careful coordination within an active retail environment to maintain operations and public access
These upgrades provided the infrastructure needed to open pedestrian corridors, support new tenants, enhance safety, and elevate the customer experience throughout the property.
Montgomery Village remains a cherished community destination, and we’re proud to contribute to its next chapter through thoughtful construction, technical excellence, and seamless coordination.
